The XPulse is been one of the most awaited motorcycles for 2019 and the buzz of this motorcycle to make its appearance in the Indian market was drooling from quite some time now. Hero MotoCorp has finally launched the XPulse, in two variants. The XPulse 200T is a soft road variant while the XPulse 200 is an off-road variant.
Both the motorcycles are powered by the 199.6cc air-cooled engine that develops maximum power of 18.4PS at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 17.1Nm at 6500rpm mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Both the bikes get a diamond type frame. Suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic suspensions with double DU bush with 190mm of travel at the front while a 10-step rider adjustable monoshock unit with 170mm travel at the rear.
Braking is done by 276mm disc at the front and 220mm disc at the rear. The XPulse 200T weighs 153kg while the XPulse 200 top variant weighs 154kg. Both the bikes are exactly identical to each other and the biggest differentiating factor is the aesthetics of the motorcycles. Fuel tank capacity is 13 litres.
Hero MotoCorp also launched the Xtreme 200S. The motorcycle is based on the naked XTreme 200 bike launched by the bikemaker last year. The bike is powered by the same engine as the XPulse 200 twins. Suspension duties are handled by a 37mm telescopic fork setup with anti-friction bush at the front and a 7-step rider adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by 276mm disc at the front with single channel ABS and 220mm disc at the rear. The bike weighs 149kg and gets a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres.
