After the introduction of the Marazzo and the Alturas G4 last year, Mahindra is now set to launch the all new XUV3OO by mid February this year. The manufacturer has already commenced with the pre bookings of the compact SUV and interested customers can book it online via the website or personally by visiting the showrooms. The car is available in three different variants W4, W6 and W8 while the W8 is also offered with an optional variant which gets more bells and whistles.
The car will be powered by two engines – a 1.2 litre petrol engine and a 1.5 litre diesel engine. Expected price for the XUV3OO is Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh. According to the current information, the XUV3OO will get 7-airbags, dual zone fully automatic climate control and front parking sensors. The SUV also offers disc brakes on all 4 wheels as standard. Once on sale, the car will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Creta and Ford EcoSport.
Talking about the new XUV300, Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales & Marketing, Mahindra said “The XUV300 promises not just the most fun-to-drive performance in the segment, but also first-in-class hi-tech features & best-in-class safety. Its 7 airbags are the highest number offered on any 5-seater, not just in the Compact SUV segment, but also in the mid-size sedan segment. Segment-first features such as Dual-zone Fully Automatic Climate Control and Front Parking Sensors are thoughtful new features keeping consumer expectations in mind. We are certain that the XUV300 will help us redefine the growing Compact SUV segment in India.”
