The C-Class Cabriolet, a drop top version of the regular C-Class sedan has been launched in India. The car is powered by the M264, 1991cc, in-line four, turbocharged engine that develops 258bhp of maximum power at 5800-6100rpm and a peak torque of 370Nm at 1800-4000rpm mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox unit. The two door saloon can sprint from 0-100kmph in 6.2 seconds with a top speed limited to 250kmph.
The C-Class Cabriolet gets ambient lighting in 64 colours that accentuates the upholstery of the C-Class Cabriolet interiors along with all-new high quality open-pore walnut wood trim. The car comes in two new metallic paint finishes Mojave Silver and Selenite Grey and one special paint Designo Selenite Grey Magno. It gets AIRCAP system noticeably reduces the airflow in the interior.
The new Cabriolet comes with Mulitbeam LED headlamps with pixel specific beam range and coverage control for enhanced illumination. The new C-Class Cabriolet was launched by Mr. Michael Jopp, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Mercedes-Benz India. The car comes with 17-inch, 5 spoke alloy wheels.
