Bajaj Auto launched the Discover commuter bike in two guises, the 110 and 125 recently. While the 110 is priced at Rs 50,176, the latter 125 cc bike is priced at Rs 53,171. All prices are Ex-showroom Delhi.
The Discover 125 can also be had with a front disc brake that will raise prices to Rs 55,994. While the price increase is steep for the disc brake variant, there is however the added benefit of improved stopping power from the disc brake.
The bikes come with first-in-class features like twin LED daytime running lamps and part-digital instrument cluster.
Bajaj has said the engines are new, but did not mention about the addition of CBS in the future, as the safety norms are about to kick-in.
Apart from the launch of the two bikes, Bajaj also showcased the entire refreshed line-up for its Pulsar, Avenger series bikes apart from the sports cruiser, the Dominar 400.
At present, Bajaj occupies 25 per cent of the entry level segment and overall, it shares the market with Hero MotoCorp at the spot, with both auto giants having a healthy 31 per cent share in the market.
