TVS is expected to showcase and possibly launch the Apache 160 at the upcoming edition of Auto Expo.
Coming close on the heels of the RR310 launch, the Apache 160 has been spied numerous times and will likely be the Tamilnadu based manufacturer’s answer to Bajaj’s 160 NS.
Drawing inspiration from the Apache 200, the soon to be launched entry-level Apache was seen testing with no rear disc petal and split seats.
However, it gets a digital instrument panel, rear monoshock (instead of the current twin shocks) and a double barrel exhaust, akin to the 200cc sibling.
It is unclear as to what changes TVS has done under the skin. The Apache 200 comes with 4-valves and it is expected that the 160 will also benefit from the same.
The current Apache 160 comes with a 159.7cc single cylinder motor, that makes 15.2bhp and 13.1Nm.
