Ducati’s Scrambler family just got expanded with the launch of the Mach 2.0 in the country with a sticker price of Rs 8.52 lakh (ex-showroom).
An inspiration from the motorcycle of the 60’s, the Mach 1 250, the motorcycle features a paint scheme that was created by the renowned designer Roland Sands, who hails from California. The colour is more on song with the classic West Coast style of the 1970’s.
The retro theme is continued with a low-slung tapered aluminium handlebar, dedicated Flat Track Pro seat, exhaust and cylinder covers that are blacked out and a cafe racer styled brushed cooling fins.
The Scrambler Mach 2.0 comes powered by an 803cc twin-cylinder air-cooled Desmodue motor with fuel-injection, producing 73bhp at 8250rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 5750 RPM. The engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle tips the scales at 186 kgs (wet weight) and has a 14 litre fuel tank. The motorcycle is available for delivery across all seven Ducati dealerships in India.
